Dave was born and raised in Southern California by godly parents. He met his lovely wife Bonnie at Hume Lake Christian Camps when they were just 16 and married five years later. They have three children, and four grandchildren (so far!).

Dave and Bonnie came to HCC nine months after the church began and have been involved in various ministries during their tenure here. Dave currently is one of our elders, teaches adult Sunday school, is a member of both the Finance and Missions Committees, sings in the choir, and is involved in a small group Bible study. He loves to study and teach the Word. One of his favorite verses says, “Your words are sweet like honey and I did eat them.”

Dave loves to play golf, watch college football, camp and fish in the mountains, travel in their trailer, and cruise the high seas (actually he prefers them to be flat!) on Princess Cruise Lines. Alaska is his favorite destination (probably because it’s the only destination to which he’s cruised!). Aside from all that, Dave loves the church and being involved. He often says, “I can’t wait to get up on Sunday morning to go to church!”
