Don has been a member of HCC since 1994 and an elder since 1997.  He took a medical leave for two years and returned to the Board in 2006.

Don retired after working for Burroughs Wellcome Pharmaceutical Company for 31 years.  He has been married to his wife Barbara since 1953.  They are the proud parents of six grown children; Don Jr., Vanessa, Glenda, Michelle, David, and Robyn.  They have seventeen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Don is active in the Springville V.F.W. where he is the Chaplain.  He is also active in the Tulare County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol Search and Rescue. One of the things that he loves to do is hunt and fish with his grandchildren.

Don has more than one favorite Bible verse, but Psalm 23 is his favorite passage.
