Accepted Jesus as savior in April of 1948
I was raised in church. I often say that the only question on Sunday morning was what I was to wear to church. Over the years I have served in many different positions of the church. For several years I served as lay pastor of different churches. I started a mission in Hachita, New Mexico where I served as lay pastor for about four years. The Lord has been good to me over the years.
I married Karen Harris in 1963 and the Lord blessed us with three sons, and now 6 grandchildren. I was raised in Southern California and have lived in the bush of Alaska, rural New Mexico and since 1995 in Porterville. For 35 years I was an Elementary School teacher retiring the second time in 2005.
I Came to HCC in 2003 and became as elder in 2004. I have been involved in the prayer ministry since coming to HCC. I don't have a favorite verse but love Matthew 5-7 the Sermon on the Mount.
