Tim comes from a large, loving, Christian family where
he is the third out of six children. Aside from ministry,
he also enjoys watching and playing sports, barbequing,
the beach, and hanging out with friends and family.
Tim heard the call of God in his life to help transform
this generation of students into disciples of Christ. This
call has become one of his incredible passions. As such,
his charge is also one of his life verses, “Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
you.” (Matthew 28:19-20) After graduating from Porterville
High School he attended Azusa Pacific University to prepare
for ministry.
While studying at Azusa Pacific he served at Porterville
First Assembly of God and Yorba Linda Friends Church as a
youth intern. As an intern he had the opportunity to regularly
teach students in a large group setting; lead weekly small
group Bible studies; and plan major youth events and trips
such as camps and retreats. He graduated from Azusa Pacific
University in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Christian Ministries and a minor in Biblical Studies.
Shortly thereafter Tim was hired here at PEFC as Interim
Pastor to Student Ministries.
