Children are precious! God cares deeply for each one. As the father of four and a pastor, I have known the joy of leading little ones toward Jesus. I am aware of the awesome responsibility of child rearing. God entrusts us, as parents, with the ministry of loving our children the way Jesus loves.

At Porterville EFC, we value children and the role parents play in their lives. We understand the need parents have for helpful partners in raising their children to love Jesus and follow Him. That is why our mission is to assist families in nurturing their children toward Christian maturity through modeling Christ-like living and providing attractive opportunities for each child to develop:

• Personal faith in Christ 
• Devotion to God as a way of life
• Care for others, and
• Skills for sharing Christ with his/her peers

In keeping with this purpose, we offer a variety of programs for ministry to the children of our church and community. We on the Children's Ministries team appreciate the opportunity to introduce these programs to you. We want to be the helpful partners you need in your ministry of parenting.
