BIBLICAL COUNSELING
AND DISCIPLING MINISTRY
of PEFC |
Our
GOAL – Christ likeness
Our
FRUIT – God’s
glory! |
"Therefore if any
man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the
old things have passed away; behold new things
have come."
II Corinthians 5:17 |
|
The Biblical
Counseling & Discipling Ministry exists for the purpose
of counseling , restoring
and renewing Christians, giving hope to
those who are downtrodden, discipling of
new and mature believers and evangelizing of
the lost.
(Col. 1:28; Gal. 6:1; I Cor. 10:13; Heb. 4:14-16; Rom. 8:29; Matt.
28:19).

The Biblical Counseling & Discipling
Ministry provides:
- One on one, marriage and family counseling:
- Fear and worry
- Communication
- Relationship Problems
- Individual discipling
- Community outreach
- Classes and seminars on biblical living
- Beginning counselor training
Unlike other counseling services, which base their counsel
on man’s wisdom and opinions, BCDM’s approach
is based entirely on God’s Word. The Scriptures tell
us that “ God has given
us everything we need for life and godliness through the
knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence (II
Peter 1:3).” Our goal is to show the counselee God’s
perspective of the problem he is facing and then show him
how to implement God’s Word in his daily life.
The counseling ministry is open to any individual or family
who desires to apply God’s perspective to their circumstances.
We maintain that God’s Word is adequate to teach us
what we need to know, to reprove us
when we go astray, to show us the correct path
and to train us
in doing right (II Timothy 3:16,17).
Though no fees are charged for counseling, each counselee
is encouraged to make a per session donation to the ministry
to assist in its costs.

Discipling:
God’s goal for every Christian is that he be conformed
to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us
that we can be partakers of
Christ’s divine
nature through the knowledge of Him (II Peter 1:3-4). The Biblical
Counseling & Discipling Ministry is dedicated to helping
new and mature believers become more like Christ through
the knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures.
The Biblical Discipling Ministry can help you:
- Discover who you are in Christ
- Develop spiritual disciplines
- Learn to examine your life in the light
of Scripture
- Grow in progressive sanctification toward Christ’s
likeness

Testimonies:
"A very short time ago I was headed
for self-destruction; I was slowly distancing myself
from God and finding fault with everyone and everything
around me. I was wallowing in self-pity. I strongly
feel that Biblical Counseling gave me a closer walk
with the Lord and I learned to forgive all the people
who had hurt me. When someone wrongs me now I don't
feel sorry for myself...I feel compelled to pray for
them. Someday I hope that I can have the opportunity
to help someone who is hurting like I was a year ago."
D.M., Counselee |
"A few years ago I was at a very
low point. Anxiety and panic attacks had quite
literally taken over my life to the point that I was
afraid of... well everything. My daughter-in-law
suggested Biblical counseling, so I made the call. It
was the best thing I ever did. The counselors
showed love and compassion for me, but more importantly,
they pointed the way to God's Word and how He wants
me to know Him more intimately through prayer and spending
quality time in the Bible daily. I praise Him
for the miracle He did in my life and I thank Him for
giving P.E.F.C. the dedicated counselors who
care so much for their brothers and sisters in Christ."
